Toss Delhi Capitals chose to bowl vs Rajasthan Royals

Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Axar Patel, with his team’s playoffs hopes hanging by the thinnest of threads, opted to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Delhi.

They made one change: debutant T Vijay came in for Auqib Nabi. Axar said he was not thinking too much about the pitch, which looked fairly dry and had no live grass.

For RR, Riyan Parag was back. He said he was happy to lose the toss as he was not sure what to do on this pitch. They also made one change. Ravindra Jadeja missed out because of “load management”, Parag said. Ravi Singh replaced him. RR also brought in fast bowler Adam Milne, while Tushar Deshpande missed out.

The match is being played on the centre wicket, with two square boundaries being 63 metres each. The straight boundary is 73 metres.
